Some Current Projects

​

- Art advisor and strategist for American sculptor Charlie Kaplan. Over the past three years, Anna has initiated  multiple exhibitions and placements  in the US and Italy, notably the installation of a major sculpture at Baruch College Newman Library. Anna has been instrumental in attracting the attention of cultural institutions, galleries, designers and architects, and is working with the artist on forthcoming public projects.

- Paris-Berlin by Christiane Germain.  With writer Perry Bass, Anna is translating the concept of the acclaimed French-language book into English in order to publish an English language version in the U.S., as well as create a film treatment of this highly visual and dramatic memoir of WWII in Europe. Written from the viewpoint of Christiane Laurentius Germain, daughter of famed dancer Jacqueline Hottinger and her anti-Nazi German husband, it is the childhood account of survival in wartime Europe.

Selected Career Highlights

​

- 1997-2016   

Developed  bespoke travel programs for museums and cultural institutions, primarily to Italy, France and the US, providing exclusive entree to private collections, major artists’ studios, museum exhibitions and VIP access to important global art fairs and biennials. Clients included:  The Clark Institute, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Leslie-Lohman Museum, MASS MoCA, Philadelphia Museum of Fine Ar. and The Whitney Museum, among others.

- 1990 ‘s        

Conceived and produced a series of in-depth video portraits of major cities, including the acclaimed 12-episode feature Gore Vidal in Venice, which is still available for viewing on YouTube.  As Founder of  AC Video Distribution and President of Marketing for the Videodisc Publishing division she produced the first fine art videodisc for the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC among other institutions, and with Pioneer Corporation

- 1980 – 1990    

Anna represented pioneering conceptual and performance artists including Eleanor Antin, Terry Fox, Allan Kaprow and Denis Openheim. She also worked on ground-breaking special projects and performances with other key artists, notably Joan Jonas, Charlotte Moorman and Nam June Paik.

- 1979/1980 

Directed the 1st Intermedia Festival at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NY, where she was also responsible for financing this major project, attracting funding from the NY State Council on the Arts as well private and corporate sectors internationally.

Director of Videotapes from Australia at the 1980 Venice Biennale.

​

Created all of the innovative satellite programming surrounding the 1979 Sydney Biennale, inviting artists Mario Merz and Daniel Buren, and architect designer Ettore Sotsass to participate, along with philanthropist and collector John Kaldor.
